For Traci Dayne, being the “go-to” person in an organization is what motivates her. Working for a mid-size coil processing engineering and manufacturing firm early in her career, she helped it grow from its inception to becoming a prominent leader in its industry. This level of involvement allowed her to experience all facets of the organization, from shipping, arranging travel, and sales support to purchasing, human resources, and managing the office.

 

After the decline in the steel industry, she pivoted to use her resources and wear many hats to immerse herself in the nonprofit sector, where she was instrumental in helping to raise millions of dollars to help strengthen health and human services in Northwest Indiana.
