Process, Procedure and Training Documentation FAQs
Digital or print documents that can onboard new employees quickly, optimize efficiency, and support knowledge transfer and retention.
Investment results depend upon the type of documentation. Success Trek will work with you to develop three main types of documentation to reach your goals.

Specifics |
Results |
Process Documentation |

Efficient workflows that reduce operational costs and create a more productive workforce |
Procedure Documentation |

Ensures that tasks are performed consistently – process and output quality are improved, saving time and labor power, reducing overall costs, and increasing transparency across your company |
Training Documentation |
Onboarding & Training Checklist, Training Manual (or compilation of “mini-manuals” or guides), and Job Aids (if needed) |
A standardized training plan that ensures employees do not miss essential instructions and helps them to succeed |
We will work with your Subject Matter Expert (SME) to focus on and become familiar with your culture, work processes, and job tasks. Success Trek will arrange Zoom® sessions for all meetings. Throughout the PP&TD development process, we maintain open communication with the SME and other stakeholders to ensure everyone agrees on the work progress.
The length of time to create documentation is highly dependent on the type of documentation (Process, Procedure, or Training) to be made, whether you have any current materials that we may use to jumpstart the process, and the availability of your Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work with our Technical Writer (TW) through the process.
Yes! Auditing or testing is one of our essential steps in creating Process, Procedure and Training Documentation. The auditing/testing process will help us to ensure we have developed the best documents for use by relying on “another set of eyes” from your organization to review and provide feedback. During this step, we will provide tools your assigned audit/test team members can use to track their progress and report feedback.
Success Trek will email you an electronic (PDF) copy of the final document. If requested, we will also arrange for printing & associated tasks – you are billed separately for printing & associated costs.
There are many ways to handle document modification after delivery. You can retain Success Trek to do the material modifications, handle them yourself, or anything in between. These extended services and any additional associated costs will be discussed with you during the project.
