December 2013 Newsletter

CandleA Time of reflection?

As the years pass it seems the calendar flips through the months quicker than the year before. Thanksgiving has come and gone, and now it is December, a time to reflect, take inventory both personally and professionally, and most importantly, express gratitude.

I have many things to be thankful for, such as my family, friends, and health. I also want to express my sincere gratitude to you, my newsletter subscribers, colleagues and clients. I am extremely thankful for each and every person who has touched my life and the lives of those who work at and have worked with Success Trek.

Showing gratitude can take many forms, but one of my favorites is giving gifts that give back or pay it forward; a donation, a gift of your time or items that benefit other organizations that magically bless the giver as well as the recipient.

The Gratitude Book Project is a gift that benefits the recipient with inspirational stories while the proceeds are contributed to Feeding America, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and Women for Women International. My own personal story is in Volume I (11-14) Volume II (6-5). They are available on Amazon:

In lieu of sending gifts and Christmas holiday cards this year, Success Trek made a contribution to our local community foundation on Give Day, November 7. Through the Porter County Community Foundation, four organizations received funds: Family HouseFamily House, Gabriel's HornGabriel's Horn, DunebrookDunebrook and the Valparaiso YMCAValparaiso YMCA. You are part of that contribution.

The Success Trek team is grateful for our association with you and look forward to continued success in the coming year.

Happy Holidays!
